Current Leadership
The governing body of KAPPP will be an Executive Board consisting of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and four Regional Directors.

Each Officer and Director will be elected initially for a term of one year. Terms of offices are one calendar year and Officers shall not serve on the board for more than four consecutive years.

Chris Haislett - Immediate Past President

Duties and Responsibilities

To serve as a member of the Executive Board.

Biography

Chris Haislett is the Contract Compliance Officer with the City of Wichita. He has been in his current role for 14 years and has 15 years of procurement experience.

Lisa Robbins - President

Duties and Responsibilities

To serve as a member of the Executive Board, to conduct meetings of the Executive Board and establish agenda therefore, to preside at Association meetings, to appoint a nominating committee, and to overview the activities in a general sense of all permanent and ad hoc Association committees.

Biography

Lisa Robbins is the Principal Public Procurement Training Executive at Sourcewell. Previously, she served as a Senior Purchasing Administrator for Johnson County, Kansas. With 18 years of Procurement experience, Lisa has provided Procurement expertise to local cities, counties, school districts, and other public entities.

She is passionate about her profession and guided by her philosophy:

Nicole Hogan - Vice President

Duties and Responsibilities

To serve as a member of the Executive Board, to act for the President in the President’s absence, to assist the President in performing any of the assigned responsibilities, and to specifically overview plans and programs of the meeting program and meeting facilities.

Biography

Nicole Hogan is the Purchasing Coordinator with the Blue Valley School District in Overland Park, Kansas. She has been in her current role for 9 years and has 13 years of procurement experience.

Tammy Culley - Treasurer

Duties and Responsibilities

To manage and report all financial information for the organization. This position receives and processes payments for KAPPP membership and events, makes outgoing payments for scholarships and operating expenses, prepares annual budgets for submission, and balances the KAPPP account.

Biography

Tammy Culley is a Purchasing Agent with Sedgwick County in Wichita Kansas. She has been in her current role for 3 years. Prior to joining the Finance Department, she has over 15 years of procurement experience in the private sector.

It has given me a better understanding of all the products and services required to keep the county running. Being part of this process of providing the best value for the taxpayers can be challenging but it is very fulfilling.” -Tammy Culley
Kyra Smith - Secretary

Duties and Responsibilities

To serve as a member of the Executive Board, to maintain minutes of all Executive Board activities, and to develop and distribute meeting announcements, training notices, and any other forms of communication with the membership.

Biography

Kyra Smith is a Senior Purchasing Administrator with Johnson County in Olathe, Kansas. She has been in her current roll for 5 years and has a total of 18 years public procurement experience.

The duties and responsibilities of each Regional Director are to serve as a member of the Executive Board and to supervise regional activities in the respective region of Kansas.

Open Position - Professional Development Chair

The duties and responsibilities of the Professional Development chair are to search, report, and develop opportunities for educational events for KAPPP members.
Jacob Crowder - Membership Chair

The duties and responsibilities of the Membership chair are to recruit, maintain, and track KAPPP members and to work with the Treasurer to maintain active members.
Open Position - Webmaster / Data Protection Officer

The duties and responsibilities of the Website Administrator Chair / Data Protection Officer are to maintain the KAPPP website, social media accounts, and be the contact for any updates required.
Open Position - Scholarship / Awards Chair

The duties and responsibilities of the Scholarship / Awards Chair are to report available dollars and tracking scholarship recipients for active KAPPP members.
