President Appoints New Board Members
On February 28, 2023, KAPPP President, Joe Thomas, appointed two new board members to serve in vacant positions.
Membership
Leigha Boling was appointed to serve in the Membership Board role. Leigha is with the City of Topeka Contracts and Procurement and holds the position of Director.
Leigha has been a member of Team Topeka for 10 years and has worked in several capacities from Executive Assistant to Budget Analyst, to her current role as Director. Leigha has 5 years of Procurement experience and is always striving to better the City by implementing policy and providing excellent customer service to Departments throughout the City.
Website Administrator
Kathleen Burrows was appointed to serve in the Website Administrator role. Kathleen is with the City of Topeka Contracts and Procurement and holds the position of Business Services Manager, a direct report to Leigha.
Kathleen has been a member of Team Topeka for 7 years and has steadily worked her way into a management position from an Office Administration role. Kathleen has 4 years of Procurement experience and is always eager to continue her education by participating in trainings through NIGP or outside organizations.
