President’s Message

Welcome to 2021 fellow Kansas Association of Public Purchasing Professionals.

We are glad you have chosen to visit our KAPPP website. You will notice that there are many new and improved features to our website, thanks to your suggestions and ideas, and also the hard work of our webmaster, Kyle Nordick.

The Board of KAPPP felt the need to make these improvements not only to enhance your viewing and navigation experience but to offer more substance and dynamism to our site. Yes, our site.

Being your site, we invite your opinions and comments on features, content, and structure that will make our interface more educational and timely to members and non-members.

Our goal is to encourage our members to have an active part in supporting the Kansas chapter, meaningfully engage with our colleagues around the state, and attracting new members from those agencies that may not have heard of KAPPP or may not understand who we are and what value we offer.

We will continue to provide education, not just about public procurement, but why our organization exists, what value it can provide, and what purpose it serves. With that in mind, we welcome your comments as to how you personally have benefited from our association. Your comments will be published on the website for all to view and reflect on.

Each month I will provide a message that I hope you find interesting, informative and intellectually provocative.
